| HOLY SHIT. I'M BACK.
What's up bros and hos? I am back (well, sorta, in IL right now), and awaiting pre season for SMB in like 5 days. Yee ha. Well, if anyone cares, Regiment got second place (lost to Cavies only by about 3 tenths), and the summer has been a tough but great one.
Well, I hope to see all my MSU pals soon, and now it is time for me to eat a shitload of food (i look a little ethiopian). And to all of my PR buddies, i'll miss you lots!!!!

| Hey Guys,
This is my last entry before I head off for the summer. I could write
in it once or twice before I leave for good...but to be honest, I
really don't care all that much.
Well, first, lets sum up last weekend. We did the Rockford Symphony
Orchestra gig, which turned out kinda rough (hope Dan Farrell won't
kill us at move-ins). We had to leave saturday morning for that. Well,
I definately felt crappy that morning, so driving to Rockford was not
so fun. Jeremy drove separately: he got a ticket for speeding, got
pulled like a half an hour out of his way b/c he took an alternate
route, and yet he still ended up only about fifteen minutes behind
James and I. Hmmm, that's prolly why he got the ticket. haha.
Oh, and let's not forget how going back home sucked balls. Windy,
pouring rain...and an unmarked detour you have to take to get onto 94
east at the Indiana-Illinois border. Fucking Illinois contruction
didn't label anything right....so it took us about 7 hours to get home.
Also, my trunk won't open now for some reason, so i had to rip the back
seat out to get James' stuff out...grreeat. Gotta love that.
And now it's finals week. I've been packing, running, and bombing my
exams (my MTH 202 one to be exact), and having no fun while i'm at it.
Hopefully everything else turns out well, and the summer will hopefully
be better than this school year, which I am sure it will be...because
drum corps is awesome. Even though I won't be able to spend this summer
with Eric, he knows how much I love him, and I can't miss my last two
years of drum corps...I can't quit now!
So for everyone, have a super summer, and don't be too much of a
dumbass. If you want to contact me, my cell number is (734)945-3011. I
always like to hear from my buddies about how their summer is. I may
not be able to call back till late at night, but just bear with me. I
hope everyone has a good time up until I see them next...and i'm
lookin' forward to this summer as well as this fall!!!!!

| Dude, this last weekend was awesome and really shitty all at the same
time. The drill is craaazzzy (crazy and hard that is), and everybody
was super excited. I saw Eric all day saturday as he watched us learn
drill, and I earned a dollar in a bet that even though I had never
rehearsed the drill I missed while fitting my uni, I would get it right
when we ran through it. Nuts man!
And now for the shitty part. I have fallen only once in my entire drum
crps career until this weekend. The only time I fell, of course, was
the final run through, in the drum solo of the opener (hardest part),
in front of Darian's High School band. Before this fall I had only
fallen at the same camp for summer 2004. Balls. That sucks.
Also, I got my drill, my symphony gig and tour schedule paperwork, and
my columbia jacket and 2004 soprano shirt stolen or mistakenly taken. I
still have not recieved any of it back yet. NOT cool dude. Well, I hope
someone at least returns my clothes, cuz thats really not cool.
So, a bittersweet weekend in retrospect. Hopefully it only gets better from here.
SUTA,
Cathy
